Build An Ant Empire Beginner Guide
This is the exact path for your first hour in Build An Ant Empire: hatch your first ant, place it, start the food-to-Cash loop, and buy the two upgrades that make everything else faster. Follow this order and you will never stall for Cash.
FIRST SESSION ROUTE
Step-by-Step Starter Path
- Hatch your first ant. Interact with the Ant Queen. Her default roll produces a Common egg — that ant becomes your starting worker.
- Place it in a colony slot. You begin with one slot available. Assign the ant so it starts producing food.
- Collect food boxes. The ant generates food that piles up at the collection station. Pick the boxes up as they spawn.
- Sell at the Sell station. Carry the food boxes there and convert them into Cash. This is your whole economy.
- Buy egg luck and egg roll upgrades. They are the cheapest upgrades and the fastest way to better ants — hit them first.
- Roll and buy better ants. Keep enough Cash in reserve to buy any high-rarity ant that hatches. Rarity directly raises food value.
- Expand the colony. Buy more slots and food value upgrades as your income allows, keeping your Cash never fully drained.
The Trap to Avoid
Running your Cash dry. Every upgrade level costs more than the last, and every ant costs Cash to buy. If you spend everything, you cannot afford the next upgrade or a good hatch when it appears. Always keep a working reserve so the loop never stops.
